Chocolate Walnut Easter Nests

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • Mini chocolate eggs (like Cadbury Mini Eggs or similar)

Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate & peanut butter:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth and fully melted.

  2. Add the walnuts:
Stir in the chopped walnuts and vanilla extract (if using) until the mixture is evenly coated and slightly thickened.

  3. Shape the nests:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the paper and shape into little nests with a small indent in the center.

  4. Top with chocolate eggs:
While the nests are still soft, gently press 2–3 mini chocolate eggs into the center of each one.

  5. Chill to set:
Place the nests in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until firm.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
