Apple Walnut Donuts

Apple Walnut Donuts! These are a gluten free, healthier, and fun way to have donuts, absolutely perfect for this holiday season.

Ingredients:

1 ounce Go a Little Nuts Walnuts

2 Apples

1 cup Flour

3/4 choice of Milk

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 egg

1 tbsp Cinnamon

1/4 cup Sugar


Instructions:

Step 1:
In a mixing bowl combine the flour, milk, baking powder, egg and vanilla

Step 2:

Chop Walnuts into desired size. Mix walnuts, cinnamon and sugar and pour onto a level surface.

Step 3:

Core an apple, then slice into rings.

Step 4:

Dip the apple rings into dough mixture until fully coated. 

Step 5:

Lightly spray the apple rings with cooking oil, then air fry  at 380 degrees for 7 minutes or until golden brown

Step 6:

Once golden brown, roll the rings in walnut, cinnamon, and sugar mixture and enjoy!
