Cinnamon Roll Walnut Muffins

Sometimes trying to come up with a unique recipe for holiday party’s is hard, but we have your back. These Cinnamon Roll Muffins with a Walnut Crumble will win over anybody who tries them.

 

Ingredients:

Muffin Base

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk

Walnut Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup walnut toppings
    1 cup brown sugar, loosely packed
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Frosting

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions:

Step 1:
Mix all wet ingredients into a medium sized mixing bowl, then add sugar. In a separate mixing bowl combine dry ingredients. Slowly add your dry mix into the wet mix, don't overmix.

Step 2:
Mix together all walnut crumble ingredients. Pour half of the mixture into the muffin mix. 

Step 3:
Scoop muffin batter into a muffin pan, leaving a little room at the top. Take remaining crumble and generously top the muffins.

Step 4:
Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

Step 5:
Mix all frosting ingredients.

Step 6:
Once muffins are done, remove from oven and let cool. Top with desired amount of frosting.

Enjoy!
