Fudgy Walnut Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup California walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper or oil.
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar, then add vanilla and eggs, mix well.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet using a spatula.
- Fold in chocolate and walnuts.
- Spread into the baking pan.
- Bake 27–35 minutes, depending on desired fudginess:
- Let cool in the pan at least 45–60 mins before cutting (the hardest part, we know).
