Walnut Crusted Salmon

This Mediterranean inspired dish is rich with Omega-3 fatty acids and tastes amazing. 

 

Ingredients:

1lb salmon
Topping:
1/2 cup Go a Little Nuts Walnut Pieces

Dressing:
1/4-1/3 cup olive oil
3 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp dijon mustard
3 tbsp honey
salt & pepper to taste

Plate:
side salad (see previous recipe) 
carb of choosing

 

Instructions:

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2:
Then start by slicing salmon into filets.

Step 3: 
In a separate bowl, mix together dressing.

Step 4:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 5:
Brush dressing onto salmon filets until fully coated.

Step 6:
Add walnut pieces directly on top, pat down if necessary, and chop walnuts into smaller pieces if desired.

Step 7:
Bake for 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees until salmon is flaky and opaque when pulled apart with a fork.
